Rocket launch SpaceX Transporter-17

ADELAIDE, Australia – 9 July 2026 – Myriota, the global leader in secure, low-power satellite IoT connectivity, today announced the successful launch of four new satellites, further expanding its UltraLite™ Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation. Launched aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-17 mission from Vandenberg Space Force Base, the satellites mark another milestone in the company’s 2026 constellation expansion.

Boosting performance and global resilience

The latest satellites strengthen Myriota’s global network by increasing capacity, improving resilience and reducing message latency for customers worldwide.

The enhanced constellation supports larger-scale IoT deployments through greater network redundancy and increased service capacity, enabling organisations across industries like agriculture, utilities, logistics and environmental monitoring to connect and monitor millions of critical assets with greater confidence.

With secure, low-cost, long-battery-life connectivity now available to customers in more than 57 countries, Myriota continues to expand access to reliable IoT data, even in the world’s most remote environments.

Supporting the next generation of IoT

Myriota’s UltraLite network is purpose-built to make large-scale, remote IoT deployments commercially viable. By combining ultra-low-power technology with cost-effective satellite connectivity, UltraLite enables sensors to operate for years on a single battery, reducing maintenance requirements and enabling organisations to monitor assets that were previously too difficult or expensive to connect.

From renewable energy monitoring and soil moisture sensing to LPG tank monitoring, water monitoring, environmental monitoring, industrial asset monitoring and more, UltraLite enables organisations to improve efficiency, build resilience and make better decisions through access to operational data from anywhere in the world.

Ben Cade, Myriota’s CEO, said:

“This latest expansion reflects our commitment to building the infrastructure required to support the next phase of global IoT growth. We have established two scalable satellite networks, a technology platform and ecosystem that enables customers to connect critical assets at unprecedented scale. As industries increasingly rely on operational data to improve efficiency, resilience and sustainability, Myriota is positioned to capture the growing demand for secure, low-power connectivity across global markets.”

Myriota’s network portfolio – combining LEO connectivity through UltraLite™ with HyperPulse™, its hybrid cellular and GEO satellite service – provides secure, fit-for-purpose connectivity for virtually any IoT deployment. Together with its portfolio of purpose-built accelerator devices, including AssetHawk™ and FlexSense™, Myriota enables organisations to deploy low-power IoT solutions at scale, delivering reliable data from assets across industries and environments.
