Nordic and Myriota Announce Certification of nRF9151 for the HyperPulse network
26 Nov 2025
Myriota is delighted to announce the official certification of the Nordic Semiconductor nRF9151, the first NTN-enabled module compatible with the HyperPulse™ 3GPP 5G network. This significant achievement enables standards-compliant satellite connectivity for a wide array of IoT applications globally, including asset tracking, infrastructure and environmental monitoring, and livestock tracking.
This certification is a crucial step, allowing device manufacturers to design and commercially rollout devices using the ultra low power nRF9151 module for seamless integration with the HyperPulse™ network. Customers can also quickly prototype and evaluate the HyperPulse™ network using Nordic’s nRF9151 SMA DK, gaining practical experience with the network.
Myriota has conducted extensive testing of the nRF9151 across various use cases, scenarios and environments to ensure optimal RF and power performance, and full compatibility with the HyperPulse™ network. The nRF9151 integrates effortlessly with Myriota’s HyperPulse™ library, empowering developers to create applications for the HyperPulse™ network directly from Nordic’s nRF Connect SDK development environment.
This key milestone allows Myriota and its device partners to confidently develop, deploy and scale cutting-edge, 3GPP-compliant products and solutions, leveraging the Nordic nRF9151 and Myriota’s comprehensive HyperPulse™ platform ecosystem. The nRF9151 is available now for purchase through Nordic’s regional distributors, with support for commercial NTN deployments being available from early 2026. The HyperPulse™ network is moving into General Availability for multiple regions in early December.
Ben Cade, CEO of Myriota said:
“Our partners want simplicity and certainty as they develop and deploy new IoT devices. The combination of Myriota’s HyperPulse™ network and Nordic’s ultra-low-power nRF9151 delivers that assurance, providing a fully tested, 3GPP-compliant platform that performs reliably in real-world environments”.
Oyvind Birkenes, EVP of Nordic’s Long Range Business Unit said:
“Myriota’s certification of Nordic’s nRF9151 module for their Hyperpulse network is a major milestone in our mission to make everything connected. The ultra-low power nRF9151 module is certified worldwide, and combined with access to Myriota’s Hyperpulse network, it enables truly global coverage for IoT applications”.
