Myriota and Green Frog Systems Partner to Deliver Global Remote Monitoring for Off‑Grid Infrastructure
17 Oct 2025

Myriota, a global leader in low-power satellite Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity, has announced a partnership with Green Frog Systems (GFS), a pioneer in off‑grid solar and nano grid energy solutions. Together, the companies are developing monitoring and control solutions that ensure resilient performance of critical infrastructure in the world’s most remote locations.
By integrating Myriota’s Flexsense technology, which uses Myriota’s direct-to-satellite connectivity service UltraLite™, into GFS’s smart energy controllers, the partnership unlocks new capabilities for customers who need reliable control without relying on Wi‑Fi, 5G, or grid power. This includes the ability to monitor infrastructure performance timely and remotely reset systems to maintain uptime—all at an affordable cost and with global reach.
Driving Resilience Across Industries
Through this collaboration, Myriota and GFS are empowering organisations operating off‑grid to better manage and protect their assets:
- Mining and Resources — monitoring and maintaining remote sites with minimal intervention
- Agriculture and AgTech — ensuring uptime of pumps, sensors, and comms equipment across vast farmland
- Critical Infrastructure — reducing downtime in safety lighting, surveillance, and utility systems
Innovation Through Collaboration
Both companies have deep roots in South Australia, with R&D facilities based locally, making for a natural collaboration on innovation.
“Green Frog Systems and Myriota are proud South Australian companies, so it makes perfect sense to collaborate,” said David Wilson, Founder of GFS. “This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver resilient, intelligent energy systems that can be deployed anywhere across the world.”
“Integrating Myriota’s Flexsense into our controllers represents a major advancement for clients who require remote reset capabilities outside of traditional broadband networks,” added Kingston Lim, Director of Engineering at GFS. “This partnership enhances reliability and control for mission‑critical applications where downtime is not an option.”
“Our mission is to make a better world through a pervasive Internet of Things,” said Nicole Russo, VP, Commercial Operations at Myriota. “Partnering with Green Frog Systems brings us a step closer to that vision—delivering satellite IoT connectivity and control to infrastructure in the most remote corners of the planet.”
